The Redskins and defensive end Kedric Golston have reached an agreement on a one-year deal that will keep him in burgundy and gold for an 11th season.
The longest-tenured player on the team, Golston agreed to a $1.005 million contract.
Active for 15 games in 2015, Golston served as a reliable backup at both end and nose tackle, and also contributed on special teams. He recorded 10 tackles. Nick-named “Uncle Ked” by his younger teammates, Golston also serves as one of the leaders of the locker room.
Golston has spent his entire career with the Redskins after entering the NFL as a sixth-round pick out of Georgia in 2006.
