Redskins add D-line depth with Ziggy Hood signing

The Washington Redskins have started to add some depth to their defensive line this morning by signing Ziggy Hood to a one year contract. Hood was a first round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009 but has had recent trouble finding a team to call home.

The 28-year-old had short stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014 and the Chicago Bears in 2015 where he would not start one game for either team. It is safe to say that Ziggy Hood has not been able to live up to the initial expectations when picked 32nd overall.
