ASHBURN — The Redskins made changes to their wide receiving core Monday, signing free agents Michael Floyd and Breshad Perriman, according to multiple reports.
Perriman and Floyd are both former first-round draft picks who have yet to make a significant mark in the NFL. But the Redskins weren’t satisfied with their depth after rookies Trey Quinn and Cam Sims suffered season-ending ankle injuries in Week 1.
Both players were at the team’s facility Monday for a workout.
In a corresponding move, the Redskins waived wideout Jehu Chesson, who was promoted last week from the practice squad.
