After the Washington Redskins blowout loss to the Saints last week, panic spread quickly, as it always does after a loss.
Fans were visibly disheartened, and even the team seemed to have less energy; they skipped a day of practice shortly after the Monday night game, in order to give players rest. In a short week, the Redskins came to battle the Panthers with fairly little preparation, and two offensive playmakers out.
It just makes the win that much more impressive.
Washington won as a team, but there are three players who stood out as important contributors in the team’s third win of the year.
