Redskins 2016 Draft Grade – RB Keith Marshall

You could see last season that running back was going to be a need for the Washington Redskins going into the 2016 NFL Draft. The Redskins wanted to use a power running game in 2015. But after a strong start, that power running game never materialized.

So the Skins need more talent at the position but they also need to add more depth. The Redskins fifth all-time leading rusher Alfred Morris is no longer with the team. Reserve running back Silas Redd is on suspension. The need for more options was necessary.

They have second-year back Matt Jones returning and also third down back Chris Thompson.
