ASHBURN, Va. -- In May, doctors braced Washington Redskins receiver Josh Doctson that his Achilles tendinitis could be a recurring issue throughout the year. Unfortunately for him, that's what's happening.
The Redskins' rookie receiver was unable to practice for a second consecutive day after being a late inactive last Sunday against the New York Giants. He had planned to play until feeling discomfort after pregame workouts.
Doctson injured his left Achilles in late May and was sidelined until a week before the season opener.
"It's definitely a frustrating injury," Doctson said.
