2015 was good to the Washington Redskins, and now it was time to build on that success with a superb 2016 offseason. Taking the next steps could propel the team to greater success — perhaps an NFC championship or even a Super Bowl title. The team had moved on from quarterback Robert Griffin and was now placing its hopes in Kirk Cousins at the most important position for any team. For the first time since the second coaching stint of Redskins legend Joe Gibbs, optimism and excitement seemed to be sky-high for fans of the Burgundy and Gold.
