Ravens outdraw Redskins in local television ratings

The Washington Redskins may be on a winning streak, but it appears they weren’t the team to generate the most interest inside the District.

Sunday’s game between Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers drew higher ratings inside D.C. than the Redskins’ win over the Carolina Panthers.

According to NBC Sports Washington, the Ravens drew a 12.5 compared to an 11.7 for the Redskins.

Among the coveted 18-34 demographic, the gap was even wider: The Ravens drew a 9.5, while the Redskins drew a 5.3, according to NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay.

It should be noted the Ravens’ win over the 49ers featured teams whose records were 9-2 and 10-1 respectively entering the afternoon.
