Pierre Thomas to Redskins: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

With the Washington Redskins' running back depth in question, the team signed veteran ball-carrier Pierre Thomas on Friday.

Washington announced the move, as well as the decision to place defensive tackle Stephen Paea on injured reserve with a toe injury to make room.

While Alfred Morris and Matt Jones are currently entrenched as the top two running backs for the 'Skins, No. 3 back Chris Thompson is dealing with a torn labrum, according to the team.

Per Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Thomas has been on the Redskins' radar for quite some time.
