Pierre Garcon and daily fantasy sports website FanDuel have resolved their legal dispute nearly three months after the Redskins wide receiver filed his class action lawsuit.
The parties agreed on confidential terms, Garcon’s representative said.
Garcon had filed a class action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Maryland, seeking $5 million on behalf of his fellow players. The suit alleged that FanDuel had used the players’ likenesses without their authorization. FanDuel doesn’t have a licensing agreement with the NFL like its competitor DraftKings does.
Garcon voluntarily dropped his lawsuit after resolving his dispute with FanDuel.
