The Washington Commanders are back on the practice field, and the veterans join the rookies today. The team held a rookie mini-camp this week with their 9 draft picks, 12 UDFAs, and some tryout players. None of the tryouts were signed, but the team did release QB Jake Fromm before practice started. Washington signed veteran Jeff Driskel and UDFA Sam Hartman after the draft to compete for the third QB spot behind veteran Marcus Mariota and this year’s No. 2 overall pick, LSU’s Jayden Daniels.
