MOBILE, Ala. — Ohio State wide receiver Braxton Miller went through individual drills, running around cones during the North’s first practice at the Senior Bowl, until Dallas Cowboys wide receivers coach Derek Dooley stopped the drill to address Miller.
“There’s some explosion, but you’ve got to get some control there,” Dooley said.
It’s all part of the process of transitioning from quarterback for Miller, who was one of the standouts during the practice session. It was a surprising move to play wide receiver by the Springfield, Ohio native when many speculated that he would transfer after recovering from a torn labrum as a senior.
