NFL Playoff Picture: Washington Commanders fail to take back the division lead; drop to 7th seed in NFC

The Washington Commanders were the top team in the NFC East before they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Philadelphia Eagles took care of the Dallas Cowboys last week. That had the Eagles at 7-2 and the Commanders at 7-3, giving Philadelphia a half-game lead in the division heading into Week 11.

The Washington Commanders are now 7-4, and on a two-game losing streak. They played the first game of Week 11, but tonight’s result drops them further down the playoff order. They went from 2nd to 6th in the NFC on Sunday, and today’s loss pushes them down past the Packers to the 7th seed in the conference.
