The Washington Commanders entered their bye week knowing that they could not move up or down from their 7th seed in the NFC, but they could get some help getting to the 6th seed. Green Bay’s loss to the Detroit Lions moved Washington within a game of the Packers. The Commanders can move up to the 6th seed next week with a win on the road against the New Orleans Saints, and a Packers loss to the Seahawks. Washington would hold the conference tie breaker(6-3 vs 4-5 NFC). Go Hawks!
Washington could get up to the 5th seed the following week, but they’d need a Vikings losing streak, and a big win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
