NFL Draft: Redskins select Arkansas inside linebacker Martrell Spaight with first fifth-round pick

With the first of their two fifth-round picks on Saturday, the Washington Redskins selected Arkansas linebacker Martrell Spaight at 141st overall.

The 6-foot, 236-pound Spaight last season earned first-team All-SEC after leading the conference with 128 tackles (10.5 of them for a loss). In 2013, Spaight played in nine games, starting two of them and recorded 22 tackles and a sack.

Prior to coming to Arkansas, Spaight played at Coffeyville Community College and earned junior college all-American honors both in 2011 and 2012.
