Day 2 of the NFL draft is in the books and the Washington Commanders added five more players on top of yesterday’s selection of QB Jayden Daniels. The players spoke to the media throughout the day as they were selected, and then GM Adam Peters answered questions about all of Washington’s moves. Philadelphia Eagles GM was very insistent with a strong offer to trade up with Washington to pick Iowa DB Cooper DeJean. Peters knows his team will be playing him twice a year, but he was comfortable with the trade and with Mike Sainristil, the Michigan CB they drafted later in the 2nd round.
