Six year veteran safety Will Harris, who spent five seasons in Detroit and one in New Orleans before signing a 2-year contract with the Commanders in free agency this week, met with local reporters on Thursday to talk about his decision to join the Washington roster. The word he used most from beginning to end was “energy”, which I would identify as the theme of his comments.
Asked about Jayden Daniels, Harris focused on “the kid’s” maturity and knowledge of the game, saying that he looked forward to helping Daniels and trying to earn the respect of his new teammates.
