The new CBA is a hot topic these days as both the owners and NFLPA try to hammer out an agreement before the new league year opens in March.

The current playoff structure has six teams from each conference making the postseason. With the addition of one team added to each conference, the playoffs will expand to a total of 14 teams, and that is likely to come as soon as this year. The other tidbit will be just one bye per conference.
