Over-rated is a relative term in today's NFL. A player can be over-rated, yet at the same time, be their team's most valuable asset. Some Redskins starters have been very over-rated in the past. Some names that quickly come to mind are Albert Haynesworth, Adam Archuleta, O.J. Otogwe, Donovan McNabb and most recently, Will Montgomery and Adam Carriker.
Some get billed as over-rated because they were high draft choices who never quite lived up to their selection. Others were high-priced free agents who flopped for their new team. Some just have a salary cap hit that doesn't match their production.
