After three seasons as offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins, Sean McVay has been hired as the head coach for the Los Angeles Rams.
McVay, 30, is the youngest head coach ever hired in NFL history. He first entered the NFL coaching ranks with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a coaching assistant in 2008.
After a season as tight ends coach for the UFL’s Florida Tuskers, McVay joined the Redskins in 2010 as an offensive assistant before being promoted to tight end coach in 2011.
In his first season in the position as tight ends coach, McVay helped Fred Davis post career-highs in receptions (59) and receiving yards (796).
