RICHMOND – The injuries continue to mount for the Washington Redskins.
Tight end Logan Paulsen missed Friday’s practice because of a sprained big toe, Coach Jay Gruden said. Meantime, a groin strain sidelined linebacker Preston Smith for Friday’s practice.
Gruden said the hope is that Paulsen, whose toe was sore and swollen Thursday night, and Smith will not be sidelined for long.
Also, backup defensive Frank Kearse injured a knee when it got hit on the side during a pileup, and he was pulled out of practice after struggling to run or fire off the line without pain.
