Live updates: Redskins to make cuts as 53-man deadline approaches

Now that the fourth and final preseason game is in the books, the Washington Redskins have until 4 p.m. Saturday to make the final cuts for the 53-man roster.

Thursday’s 17-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars was nothing more than a final audition for the guys on the bubble, as the Redskins need to trim 22 from the roster to get to that final number.

Perhaps nobody improved their stock more than receiver Rashad Ross, who had 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown on Thursday night and a 19-yard punt return. That gave him a league-best 266 yards and four touchdowns in the preseason on 25 catches.
