Free agent linebacker Will Compton signed his tender for the 2017 season Monday, agreeing to return to Washington for another season.
Compton ranked 74th among all inside linebackers with an overall grade of 46.2 in the 2016 season.
Compton led the team in total missed tackles, gave up the most yards per play among Washington’s inside linebackers on his team, and allowed the highest completion percentage on plays into his coverage.
