One of the best things to emerge for the NFC East-champion Washington Redskins this season is the connection between Kirk Cousins and Jordan Reed.
That bond manifested itself best in the last three games. In those, Cousins is 25-for-27 when targeting Reed, who had at least seven receptions and a score in each of the three games.
The Elias Sports Bureau notes that Cousins became the first quarterback in Redskins history to have consecutive games with at least 300 yards passing and four touchdown passes. Reed now has 11 touchdown receptions this season, one shy of the club’s single-season record.
