The Redskins will receive quarterback Alex Smith once the trade is official on March 14. The Redskins will give the Chiefs a third-round pick plus corner Kendall Fuller. Cousins will then become a free agent at the start of the league year. Cousins told TMZ Sports on Thursday that he had a "phenomenal six years" with the Redskins.
