The National Football League announced today that Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team’s Week 10 win against the New Orleans Saints.
The honor marks Cousins’ second NFC Offensive Player of the Week award this season, joining his previous selection following the team’s Week 7 win vs. Tampa Bay. Cousins joins Art Monk (1991), Brad Johnson (1999), Santana Moss (2005) and Robert Griffin III (2012) as the only members of the Redskins to earn two NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors in a single season since the award was instituted in 1984.
