The Washington Redskins recently posted the photo of Kirk Cousins and Shatner to their Facebook Page:
Checking Cousins’ Twitter page, the franchised quarterback (and hopefully this season’s starter) hasn’t said anything about the meeting, but when you’ve been called “Captain Kirk” by everyone in the NFL, it was time for the two to meet.
Of course Facebook users had a field day. One post read, “Can Captain Kirk (on the left) beam Bruce Allen to another galaxy? Please.” Someone else posted, “Boldly going where no Redskins team has gone since 1991… or so we hope.
