Kirk Cousins likes Redskins coaching moves on offense, provides 'continuity'

Kirk Cousins likes how the Washington Redskins handled their coaching changes on the offensive staff. So if he does return, it provides him something he likes: continuity.

The Redskins promoted Matt Cavanaugh from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator and hired Kevin O’Connell as the new quarterbacks coach. Cavanaugh, of course, replaces Sean McVay, who was hired by the Los Angeles Rams as their new head coach.

Meanwhile, Jay Gruden will call the plays. There’s always an adjustment whenever someone is in a new role, but the good part for the quarterbacks is that the offense remains the same.
