Quarterback Kirk Cousins witnessed the birth of his first son, Cooper Cousins, right before packing his bags for Kansas City.
The Bye week, therefore, is coming at the perfect time for the Redskins, many of whom were injured Monday night, but especially for Cousins, who will have a full week of "paternity leave" as he captions in his latest Instagram post.
"It’s been a great experience because Julie’s just been so positive all the way through it," Cousins said on Saturday. "She’s been so disciplined and really just has been a joy through the whole nine months and the actual labor and delivery was no different.
