Kirk Cousins Does Something No Other Active Player Has Done

On Oct. 4, quarterback Kirk Cousins manned an offense that drove 90 yards in 15 plays to a touchdown, one that would put the Redskins over the Eagles for good by a final of 23-20.

Then on Sunday, the offense once again got the ball late in the game, this time on their own 20-yard line with less than three minutes left.

Cousins would march the Redskins down the field quickly, where he’d find Jordan Reed for a six-yard score with 24 seconds left.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Cousins is the only active player to throw two game-winning passes in the final 30 seconds of the fourth quarter twice in the same calendar month.
