ASHBURN — Washington Redskins defensive end Kendall Reyes and inside linebacker Martrell Spaight have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Reyes sustained a groin injury last week and was questionable for the season opener, but played 18 snaps against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. He aggravated the injury on Wednesday and did not practice on Thursday or Friday.
Spaight was limited in practice on Friday and participated in individual drills. He did not sustain a concussion in last week’s game or any practices since then, but was experiencing symptoms.
The second-year outside linebacker missed all of last season after sustaining a concussion in the third preseason against the Baltimore Ravens.
