ASHBURN — Redskins quarterback Case Keenum did not practice Wednesday with a foot injury and was in a walking boot as Dwayne Haskins and Colt McCoy threw passes during individual drills.
Keenum was first injured in a Week 3 loss against the Chicago Bears. Coach Jay Gruden benched the quarterback in the second quarter in Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, partially citing Keenum’s foot injury as a reason for the change.
The Redskins have not said who will start this weekend against the New England Patriots.
Asked about the injury after the Giants’ loss, Keenum said “everybody plays hurt in this league.
