Kedric Golston's injury will test Redskins' depth along line

ASHBURN, Va. -- If nothing else, the Washington Redskins felt good about their depth along the defensive line entering the season. It’s already being tested -- and will continue to be now that Kedric Golston is done for the season.

Golston was placed on injured reserve Monday after injuring his hamstring in Sunday’s 27-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Redskins signed Matt Ioannidis off the practice squad. The problem is, they also have veteran Kendall Reyes nursing a groin injury that kept him out of Sunday’s loss.

The Redskins’ run defense fared well minus Golston Sunday, thanks to Ziggy Hood and Cullen Jenkins, among others.
