According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post Washington Redskins outside linebacker Junior Galette has fired his agent Peter Schaffer. Apparently Galette is unhappy with the way contract negotiations are going with the Redskins.
Galette is an unrestricted free agent this off-season and he’s looking for a one year deal. Rumor has it that Galette is looking for a one-year $7 to $8 million for the 2016 season. It seems the Redskins want to sign him to a multi-year deal with a lower salary per year.
Junior Gallette has been rehabbing from a torn Achilles he suffered in preseason last year.
