RICHMOND — The Washington Redskins will workout free agent quarterbacks Saturday after fourth-stringer Josh Woodrum tore his pectoral muscle against the Cleveland Browns, coach Jay Gruden said.
Woodrum was mostly a camp arm, but he went 6-of-11 for 44 yards in Cleveland. But Woodrum was hurt late and an MRI later revealed the diagnosis.
Gruden said he was unsure if the Redskins would add another quarterback for Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“We’ll see, we’ve got a workout (of quarterbacks) today after practice,” Gruden said. “The more reps (the other three quarterbacks) get the better in my book.
