Josh LeRibeus comfortable and ready for his NFL debut at center

For the first time in four years, someone other than Kory Lichtensteiger start at center for the Redskins. Instead, Josh LeRibeus will make his second career start and first at center against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Lichtensteiger was officially ruled out Friday because of lingering shoulder, finger and neck injuries. He played through the pain in last week’s loss to the Falcons, his 53rd consecutive start, but the eight-year veteran thought it was best to sit out after discussing the situation with the coaches and trainers. Redskins Coach Jay Gruden said Lichtensteiger likely would return after the bye week for the Nov.
