Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed had knee surgery last week and will be sidelined until training camp. This news comes from HC Jay Gruden.
If you'll recall, Reed missed OTAs last week due to some knee "soreness" and instead went to the doctor to check it out. Well, it turns out the doctor must have thought Reed's issue required surgery.
While still very young (24), Reed stays injured and has missed 12 of a possible 32 games over his two-year career. The big injury concern for him over that time has been concussions, but he's also dealt with hamstring issues and now the knee.
