Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson shouldering a painful load

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed hasn’t slept well and still can’t move his left shoulder much.

That said, he still calls himself day to day with that Grade 3 separation of the AC joint, suffered in the Thanksgiving loss at Dallas.

Reed said he doesn’t think he can make the injury worse by playing, but he also said he needs to increase his range of motion before he can return. Right now, he said, his range of motion is at about 30 percent.

“I don’t think it could hurt anymore worse than it is now,” Reed said.
