The Hogs were one of the best offensive lines in history, clearing the path for three Super Bowl victories by the Washington Redskins. Yet only one member of this group has reached the Hall of Fame. A second is deserving – but that doesn't mean it'll happen.
Saturday, former offensive tackle Joe Jacoby will learn if he joins ex-teammate and guard Russ Grimm in the Hall of Fame. For the first time, Jacoby was at least one of the 15 modern-era finalists.
"To me it's really kind of sad that as good as the line was and how many games we won, there's only one guy that's in the Hall of Fame," said former Redskins tight end Donnie Warren, part of that famed group.
