BOCA RATON, Fla. -- To Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, Darren McFadden will be the starting running back in 2016 even with the addition of Alfred Morris on Tuesday.
“Morris will be more limited in his carries than McFadden,” Jones said from the owners meetings. “But I do see substantive workload there for him, but not as much as McFadden.”
In eight seasons, McFadden has 1,277 carries for 5,336 yards. In four seasons with the Washington Redskins, Morris had 1,078 carries for 4,713 yards.
McFadden has three 200-carry seasons, including 2015.
