For a second consecutive week, the Washington Redskins‘ offensive line faced the daunting task of fending off one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. And once again, the overhauled unit answered the call.
The line paved the way for 182 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Rams, and also did well in pass protection, yielding only two sacks.
This came after the Redskins’ line helped the offense produce 161 rushing yards while surrendering only one sack.
The success of the line comes despite the fact that Washington has two new starters on the right side, rookie Brandon Scherff and first-year starter Morgan Moses at guard and tackle, respectively.
