Jay Gruden has 'high hopes' Redskins' health will improve during bye week

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins’ list of priorities over the bye week starts with one simple desire: Get healthy. It would be a welcomed way to start the final nine games.

There are other issues to be sure, but some of them would be solved by the return of key players.

“The big thing is to get their bodies healthy,” Redskins coach Jay Gruden said.

A number of players remain sidelined entering the bye, including receiver DeSean Jackson, who hasn’t played since the season opener because of a hamstring injury.
