The Washington Redskins have confirmed that back up running back Silas Redd Jr. will miss the entire 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee this past Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns.
“It’s very unfortunate for Silas,” Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said, via Redskins.com. “He was having a good camp and making good progress.”
Redd ended up making the Redskins final roster last season as an undrafted rookie.
“It’s frustrating, but God gives his hardest battles to the strongest soldiers,” said Redd Jr. “ Just another obstacle and I’ll get through it.
