ASHBURN — The Redskins will be without wide receiver Jamison Crowder for a third straight game, while cornerback Quinton Dunbar (shin), wideout Paul Richardson (knee, shoulder) and running back Chris Thompson (rib, knee) are questionable Sunday against the New York Giants.
Coach Jay Gruden said Dunbar will be evaluated before kickoff to determine his chances of playing. The cornerback sat out of practice this week, but spent his time working off to the side with the team’s training staff.
Dunbar was diagnosed with a nerve issue in his shin and Gruden said the injury is going to “take a little bit of time” to heal.
