Jackson, Ihenacho Leave Sunday's Opener With Injuries

Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson and safety Duke Ihenacho were ruled out of Sunday’s season opener with the Dolphins for injuries sustained during the first quarter of play.

Jackson hurt his right hamstring chasing down a deep pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins on the Redskins’ second drive of the day. He was evaluated on the sideline before the team ruled him out.

Ihenacho injured his left wrist during a tackle near midfield before the first quarter ended and was immediately taken into the locker room.
