It's not ideal, but Redskins' offensive line options include Trent Williams at LG

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins might face an odd question along the offensive line: Are they better off with Trent Williams at tackle or guard?

The answer should be easy, but it will really come down to what others can do -- or if they’re even healthy. Williams is a tackle -- and a very good one at that, having made four consecutive Pro Bowls. Tackle is considered a premium position, and Williams is an elite player, so why even consider playing him at guard?

First, there are injuries with center Kory Lichtensteiger (calf) and left guard Shawn Lauvao (ankle) -- coach Jay Gruden described both as moderate.
