ASHBURN, Va. -- The simple way to say it is that the Washington Redskins would miss tight end Jordan Reed. It makes sense: He’s their best offensive weapon, someone capable of drawing defensive attention, making athletic catches and presenting a threat in the red zone.
Of course they would miss him if he can’t play Sunday because of a concussion. Reed hasn’t practiced this week and, considering he’s been diagnosed with at least five, there is concern about his availability.
That means the Redskins must prepare for life without Reed. They still have an excellent receiving corps with DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder.
