With Reuben Foster not facing suspension, and the departure of Zach Brown and Preston Smith, the Redskins’ linebacker corps for 2019 is starting to take shape. The Redskins may still draft an early round pick at edge rusher, but it seems more and more like the team is going to give Ryan Anderson a chance to start.
The team also seems to be high on the future of Shaun Dion Hamilton and Foster. All three played together on Alabama’s 2016 National Championship defense. It would be an intriguing trio to complete a linebacker corps headlined by perennial pro bowler Ryan Kerrigan, but will it work?
