From the Department of Better Late Than Never, here’s who played and how many snaps in Washington’s season opener.
It was somewhat of an odd game, because there were injuries, like the early and significant incidents that sidelined wide receiver DeSean Jackson and safety Duke Ihenacho, as well as brief exits, like when Morgan Moses got his helmet twisted and his eye poked.
For all the anticipation throughout the preseason, about draft picks and free-agent additions, some, like Stephen Paea and Preston Smith, only played a handful of snaps from scrimmage. Others logged more time on special teams than anywhere else.
