Like most players who dream of seeing themselves in the video game they grew up playing, Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins was excited about being a part of Madden.
Now, all he has to do is bring up that rating.
In the Madden NFL 20 player ratings released Monday, Haskins came in with a pretty average score, 72 (star quarterbacks like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers usually max out the game’s internal player ranking system with scores closer to 100).
Haskins’ ranking is typical for rookies. He came in one point behind quarterback Kyler Murray, the top overall selection in this year’s draft, and, notably, much higher than the second signal-caller taken, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants, who was given a less-than-inspiring 63.
